My Story…

Originally from Devon and devoted mother of two, I have always had a passion for serving and caring for others and have been grateful every day for my journey as a Nurse in Jersey since the age of 18.

I have overcome various challenges in life, such as despite having a big fear of heights, I jumped out of a plane at 12,000 feet!

In 2010, I developed a debilitating condition that reduced my mobility so much I needed a wheelchair and became housebound, suffering with muscle pains, brain fog and anxiety.  After 3 years of investigations, I was diagnosed with M.E/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.

These were challenging times, however, what helped me through was that I looked for the silver lining, the positives and refused to let it get the better of me. I started to look for different ways in which to do things.

For example…I was unable to run around and play with my children, so I focussed on a more positive mindset and what I could do with them…I got extra playful and creative at home.

Knowing what I was dealing with, gave me a purpose and a mission to discover more and help others with similar issues. I collaborated to reignite and support the local charity for persistent pain, Pain Support Jersey. I worked hard on improving myself both physically and mentally. I was gradually able to improve my mobility.

I took up archery and despite having to carefully manage my condition, reached my goal of becoming an international archer, representing Jersey.

Being more than 3 stone overweight, over eight months I lost the excess weight (no special diet) and began to get my health back.

Returning to work in a GP surgery increased my confidence, so when COVID first hit I trained to become a Nurse Vaccinator. However, life had another curve ball and after a long relationship ended, I entered a new chapter in life and moved back to the UK to start afresh.

Over the years, I have educated and upskilled myself, worked on my mindset, read books, received coaching, counselling, physio and taken numerous educational courses.

After big life changes and discovering for myself the immense power of coaching, mindset, language and self-care, this inspired me to share my experiences and further my knowledge to make a positive impact on people’s lives to help others navigate life’s challenges.

I am now a Life, Wellness, and Confidence Coach and accredited DISC personality profiler with a passion for serving and supporting others.

I am dedicated to empowering individuals, especially those who have challenges and may feel lack of confidence, direction, motivation are stressed or overwhelmed. My unique background, personality and diverse experience enables me to connect with my clients on a unique and compassionate level, giving a safe and supportive environment in which to flourish.

I offer bespoke, 1 to 1 coaching that addresses physical and emotional well-being, self-confidence, goal-setting, and enables challenges to be worked through. My approach combines evidence-based techniques with empathy and intuition, guiding my clients towards transformative change.

 

Having a natural supportive nature, with a warm and empathetic approach, I offer clients a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore their aspirations, fears and desires.

With my guidance and support, clients gain clarity on what they want, insight into who they are and how they can develop themselves. Achievable actions are created to improve their overall wellbeing, gain direction, manage energy levels, raise self-awareness and boost their self-confidence to reach their goals in life.
